How to get your Instagram data

Go to Instagram’s help page: Request a Download of Your Information .

Request a download for your account. When asked for format, choose HTML.

When the email arrives, download the ZIP file and unzip it on your computer.

Inside the unzipped folder, open:
connections/followers_and_following/
You should see files like:
followers_1.html
followers_2.html
followers_3.html
…
following.html

Here you can either:
– Upload the full ZIP file (recommended), or
– Switch to “HTML files” mode and upload followers_*.html and following.html manually.

Privacy

FollowCheck does not collect, store, or transmit your Instagram data. All processing happens in your browser. Your files never leave your device. There are no accounts, analytics, or tracking.
